PVI

PVI is a research group at PUCRS, that develops research on Visual processing and Interaction, mainly in the following areas:

  • Computer Graphics
  • Human-Computer Interaction
  • Computer Vision and Machine Learning
  • Data Visualization
  • Graphical Simulation
  • Virtual and Augmented reality

The group conducts research projects in partnership with private companies and governmental agencies, in areas such as Visualization of Information Extracted from Social Networks, Adaptation and Authorship of Final-User Systems, Simulation and Animation of Virtual Humans, Interface and Interaction Design for Inclusion, Assistive, Adaptable and Inclusive Technologies, applications for Computer Vision and Virtual Reality.
